ABOUT US
The Aston Hill Centenary will celebrate the hill’s rich
motorsport heritage and share the history of the events that
took place there between 1904 and 1925, when it hosted
some of the nation’s biggest Hillclimb events. Our primary
sponsors for this prestigious and historically significant
event in 2025 will be Ecurie Bertelli and Immun’Age.
Ecurie Bertelli is the pre-eminent global sales and service
specialist for pre-war Aston Martin cars. With more than 40 years’
experience they are experts in the repair, restoration and
conservation of pre-war Aston Martins, as well as the leading
supplier of pre-war Aston Martin racing and event support
worldwide. Ecurie Bertelli traces its roots back to Morntane
Engineering, established in 1976 by Nick Mason, which quickly
earned a reputation for high quality restorations of pre-war Aston
Martins alongside a thriving motorsport programme. Today, Ecurie
Bertelli continues to be home to an unrivalled technical knowledge
and skills base, as well as an exceptional store of pre-war Aston
Martin archive documentation, parts, drawings and patterns
enabling the highest quality service to its customers.

Our organisers
The Aston Hill Centenary is being organised as a partnership
between the Aston Clinton Parish Council, the Vintage Sports Car
Club and the Herts County Auto & Aero Club.
The village of Aston Clinton is hosting a historic exhibition from 14-
17th May 2025, in the Red Kite Pavilion in Aston Clinton Park, for
local schools/colleges and others to learn about the hill climbs.
Motorsport on Aston Hill will be on the curriculum of Aston Clinton
School in the term prior to 17th May 2025, with the output forming
part of the pre-event exhibition. Motorsport is a key element of
Aston Clinton School STEM activities, with Year 6 pupils
participating in the ‘Aston Arrows Racing’ programme, which
involves building and racing a Greenpower Goblin car.
The Herts County Auto & Aero Club was founded in 1903 by local
rich and famous enthusiasts to promote sporting activities in
motor cars (and motorcycles). Amongst early events were the hill
climbs near Aston Clinton, on the public highway through the
Rothschild estate where they were entertained with Salmon and
champagne! HCAAC still runs speed events today together with
many other motorsport activities which you can see here.
The Vintage Sports Car Club was founded in 1931 to promote the
preservation and enjoyment of period vehicles in a wide range of
motoring activities. The VSCC has been central in locating and
inviting many of the vehicles for the Aston Hill Centenary.

Our beneficiaries
The British Motorsports Marshals Club has pulled together many
specialist groups of motorsport marshals to provide training and
financial help with equipment. Their voluntary help is a key enabler
of motorsport events in the UK and beyond. They will be lining the
route of our Centenary event and recruiting new members with a
display in The Show. For more details, please click here.
We are proud to be supporting two great local charities:
Kirby’s Herd plus the Chilterns Neuro Centre.
